About ISRO-NESAC:

North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam is an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Space and North Eastern Council (NEC) to assist development process in North Eastern Region using space science and technology. It undertakes specific applications projects using remote sensing, GIS, satellite communication and conducting space science research. The Centre’s services are helpful in natural resources management, infrastructure planning, health, education, disaster management and Earth Observation Applications Mission

Educational Qualification:

For Scientist /Engineer (Space & Atmospheric Science) – The candidate must have qualified M.Sc OR M.Tech in Physics OR Atmospheric Science OR Earth System Science OR Meteorology OR equivalent

For Scientist /Engineer (Geoscience)- The candidate must have qualified M.Sc OR  M.Tech in Geology o OR equivalent

For Scientist /Engineer (Geoinformatics Applications)– The candidate must have qualified M.S  OR M.E OR M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS  OR GeoInformatics OR Geomatics OR  equivalent

For Scientist /Engineer (Urban Planning)- The candidate must have qualified M.Sc in Geography (Urban Planning OR Regional Planning).

Salary:

Rs 56100/- per month

Age Required:

The maximum age limit as on 25/10/2016 should be 35 years
