Probationary officer

A person who is newly recruited as an Officer and will be under probation for 2 years initially. During the training period, the person will be allotted work and he will be monitored on his performance basis.

Roles and responsibilities of probationary officer:

  • Probationary officer has to verify all the work done by bank Clerk.
  • The probationary officer works also as public relation officer and have to handle customer complaints and address various customer related issues such as discrepancies in accounts. Rectification of undue charges and look into complaints regarding services provided by the bank.
  • The probationary officer takes responsibility of handling the loan department, the mortgage and finance Division of the bank
  • The PO have to generate high return and have to sell Bank’s products.
